There's no place like home for Elm Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Twin Loup Wolves 3-0 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Buffaloes, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Elm Creek was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Chelsea Kottich paced Elm Creek's offense, picking up 20 kills. Kottich got some help from Ava Hellriegel and her 35 assists. Ashlyn Hellriegel controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Elm Creek's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Twin Loup, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Elm Creek will square off against Gibbon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Loup has already played their next contest (against Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
