The Ontario Christian Knights can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to Aquinas for the full four quarters, racking up a 83-37 victory on the road. The win was nothing new for Ontario Christian as they're now sitting on 18 straight.
Kaleena Smith was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 24 or more points the last 19 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Ajobiewe, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Aquinas lost, one person who can't be blamed is Breanna Bates. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Bates has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rachelle LoBianco, who scored seven points.
Ontario Christian pushed their record up to 25-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 97.0 points per game. As for Aquinas, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7.
Ontario Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aquinas also has no future games currently scheduled.
