Make it 14 blowout wins for the West Valley Eagles this season. They claimed a resounding  75-39 win over Lassen at home. West Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Kayla Wiley was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 18 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. She is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games she's  played.  Emily Nolan was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and 14  rebounds.
 Lassen's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Mili Crosno, who  scored 16 points, and  Nellie Ratcliff who  scored eight points along with six  steals. Ratcliff hasn't dropped below two  steals for three straight games.
 West Valley has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Lassen, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Central Valley at 6:00  p.m.  on January 26th. Central Valley has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. As for Lassen, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Anderson at 6:00  p.m. Anderson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lassen in California (Anderson is ranked 304th, while Lassen is ranked 664th).
