Basketball Recap: Quincy Piles Up the Points Against Maxwell

Quincy won the last time they faced Maxwell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Quincy Trojans breezed by the Maxwell Panthers to the tune of 62-11. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Quincy was led to victory by Madeline Blaufuss and Skylar McCarthy. Blaufuss posted 11 points and six steals, while McCarthy had two points along with 12 boards, six assists, and five steals. McCarthy is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Peay, who earned seven points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Quincy was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Quincy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Maxwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Quincy has already played their next contest (against Williams), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Maxwell has already played their next match, a 53-21 loss against Biggs on the 24th.
