The Tulpehocken Trojans had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 63-31 loss at the hands of Upper Perkiomen. Tulpehocken lost against Upper Perkiomen in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-34 score last time.
Among those leading the charge was Erin States, who scored 28 points. Carly Heiser was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Tulpehocken's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Upper Perkiomen, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Tulpehocken will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pottsgrove at 6:45 p.m. on December 12th. As for Upper Perkiomen, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Oley Valley at 6:00 p.m.
