There's no place like home for the Liberty Bison, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They really took it to West Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Liberty has posted since November 17, 2023.
Kelli Harris-Wellman was the offensive standout of the match as she scored nine points along with 18 rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Barajas, who scored seven points along with five assists and five steals.
Liberty now has a winning record of 9-8. As for West Valley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Liberty will face off against Citrus Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Citrus Hill is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for West Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tahquitz at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tahquitz presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Valley in California (Tahquitz is ranked 568th, while West Valley is ranked 1167th).
