After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedartown, Hiram was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Dalton Catamounts. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 15-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Faith Matthews made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits.
