St. Joseph Notre Dame has struggled against Encinal recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Encinal got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lola Whalen out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Whalen scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzy Alcantar, who scored 16 points along with nine steals and eight rebounds.
St. Joseph Notre Dame has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Encinal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
