Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy). They enjoyed a cozy  42-28 win over the Erie Tigers on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Lightning.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Joey Jewett, who picked up 95 receiving yards and one  score.
 Legacy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Erie to a completion percentage of just 39.3%. The Lightning weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 54.5%.
 Legacy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Dane Hayes,  Joshua Rowan,  and  Austin Hyatt picked up one apiece.
Legacy now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Erie,  this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Legacy will venture away from home to  face off against Vista PEAK Prep  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bison will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  contest than the last. As for Erie, they will head out to  challenge Horizon  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
