Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McConnellsburg). They strolled past the Fairfield Knights with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-31. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

McConnellsburg now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fairfield, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McConnellsburg and North Star will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfield, they will be home for the holidays to greet York Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
