Make it four blowout wins for the Williamson Warriors this season. They were the clear victor by a 38-15 margin over Sayre. Given Williamson's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Sayre is ranked 659th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Williamson found their leader in underclassman Kenna Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Madisen Jones was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
The victory was the third in a row for Williamson, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. As for Sayre, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Williamson will head out on the road to square off against Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Canton will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Sayre will take on Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
