Leading Justin-Siena to victory were Naveena Jackson and Jordan Washington. Jackson dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Washington dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was Washington's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Dylan Zapolski was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
The win was the fourth in a row for Justin-Siena, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Saint Mary's, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Justin-Siena will be home for the holidays to greet Monte Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saint Mary's, they will head out on the road to face off against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
