The Woodgrove Wolverines scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rock Ridge and snuck past 83-81. The win was nothing new for Woodgrove as they're now sitting on five straight.
Woodgrove was led to victory by Dane Marsh and Colin Fuller. Marsh dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Fuller scored 23 points. Marsh is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Kenny Chicas was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Woodgrove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Rock Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
Woodgrove will square off against John Champe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Ridge, they will be playing at home against Dominion at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominion has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
