It was a good run, but the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 46-35 to Bernstein. Robert F. Kennedy Community lost against Bernstein in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 60-19 score last time.
Bernstein's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Odali Rivera, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Gisele Lusk, who scored 13 points.
Robert F. Kennedy Community's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Bernstein, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Robert F. Kennedy Community will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hollywood at 4:00 p.m. Hollywood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 240 points over their last four games. As for Bernstein, they will head out on the road to challenge Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Belmont comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
