After three games on the road, Chester is heading back home. They will take on the Princeton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
A well-balanced attack led Chester over Burney in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Chester strolled past Burney with points to spare, taking the game 41-24. The win was just what Chester needed coming off of a 59-32 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Westwood on Friday, but they still walked away with a 25-21 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Princeton.
Princeton can attribute much of their success to Starlin Smith, who scored four points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Reyna Sullivan, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and seven steals. It was the first time this season that Sullivan pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sissy Winn, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Chester's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 7-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
