Washburn had a rough outing against St. Paul Central two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Washburn put the hurt on Highland Park with a sharp 49-17 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
Their wins bumped St. Paul Academy/Minnehaha Academy/Blake to 3-0 and Washburn to 3-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when St. Paul Academy/Minnehaha Academy/Blake and Washburn clash.
