It was another big night for Samiah Holley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals for Rio Vista. Holley is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenayah Banks, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Esparto's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.9 points per game. As for Rio Vista, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
