Annenberg is 1-9 against Downtown Magnets since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Annenberg Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Downtown Magnets Suns at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Annenberg suffered a rough 53-29 defeat at the hands of Rancho Dominguez.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Downtown Magnets, who are still winless after their sixth game. They took a 36-19 bruising from USC-MAE on Monday.
Annenberg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Downtown Magnets, they have fallen quite a ways from their 11-4 record last season and are now at 0-6.
Annenberg was dealt a bruising 42-15 loss at the hands of Downtown Magnets when the teams last played back in February. Can Annenberg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
