Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Etna). They strolled past the Plumas Charter Warriors with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-30. The Lions pushed the score to 45-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Plumas Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Amaiya Beatty, who posted seven points. Sam Hymas was another key player, putting up five points and nine rebounds.

Etna is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Plumas Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Etna will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Plumas Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-14 defeat against Hoopa Valley on the 4th.
