The Fayetteville Wolves were the 41-32 winner over the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Fayetteville took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silent Warriors. Fayetteville's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was JonBrady Buttram, who scored 17 points.
Fayetteville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-17 record this season.
Fayetteville will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mustangs. Isabella is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to face off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Donoho has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12.
