Some teams from Florida played in real games last week while most took part in a kickoff classic that doesn't officially count toward your actual record.
We already checked out the
preseason Top 25 state rankings and now we zone in on the best players in the Sunshine State with the 2022 Preseason MaxPreps Florida All-State Team.
IMG Academy (Bradenton) begins the season as the top-ranked team in Florida and has the most players featured with 13 selections. Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) had the second-most players chosen with four followed by St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale) and Jesuit (Tampa) with three each.
American Heritage (Plantation), Central (Miami), Osceola (Kissimmee) and Venice were the only other schools to have multiple players selected.
In total, 31 different schools had at least one player chosen and 40 of the 55 selections are seniors. The remaining 15 players selected are entering their junior season.
