Paradise is 1-9 against Oroville since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Paradise Bobcats will be staying on the road to face off against the Oroville Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th.
Last Saturday, Paradise came up short against Durham and fell 41-30.
Meanwhile, Oroville had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 40-22 victory over CORE Butte on Saturday. The squad ran away with 29 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Serenity Miller was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 12 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lili Kelemen, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The losses dropped Paradise to 0-3 and Durham to 5-3.
Paradise might still be hurting after the 49-27 loss they got from Oroville when the teams last played back in February of 2020. Can Paradise avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
