The East Juniata Tigers fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Mount Union Trojans on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 48-45. East Juniata's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Mount Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Williams, who scored nine points along with five steals. Maddie Dimoff was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
