Hoopa Valley was led to victory by Tashee Tracy and Ivy Lamebear. Tracy dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds, while Lamebear scored 25 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which Tracy has scored at least 25% of Hoopa Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Nelson, who scored no points along with nine assists and five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Redding Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brooklyn Beasley. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points. The match was Beasley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Cailee Bowers was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The victory got Hoopa Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Redding Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
