Bell will square off against Olympian at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bell is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games.
Bell proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over Gulliver Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since February 24th.
Nathen Oropeza looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jayden Rojas and Andres Torres did most of the damage at the plate: Rojas got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Torres got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave Torres a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Rubio, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.
Bell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulliver Prep only posted an OBP of .343.
Olympian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2025 (when they won 11-1). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Escondido an 8-0 shutout.
Luke Hill looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Olympian let Gabriel Collins and Diego Estrada run wild. Collins went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Estrada went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Diego Miranda, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Bell's record now sits at 14-1. As for Olympian, their record is now 9-4.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Bell has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Olympian struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
