Chaska (Minn.) saw its 14-point lead shrink to one, but hung on to upset
Andover (Minn.) 21-20 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Kolby Seiffert in the first quarter, the Hawks led 13-7 at the half.
Chaska grew its lead to seven points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Justin Arnold to
Calvin Buesgens.
With the win the Hawks extended their winning streak to 11 games. Chaska defeated Mankato West 27-6 last week.
The defeat comes as a step back for Andover, who notched a 33-32 victory over Spring Lake Park in its previous outing. The loss snapped Andover's three-game winning streak.
