After losing to the William Allen Canaries the last time they met, the Liberty Hurricanes decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Liberty came out on top against William Allen by a score of 43-36 on Thursday.
Among those leading the charge was Emma Pukszyn, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anijah Davis, who scored five points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Liberty now has a winning record of 8-7. As for William Allen, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Liberty will head out on the road to challenge Bethlehem Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethlehem Catholic will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for William Allen, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Parkland at 7:00 p.m.
