Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty Charter). They secured a 29-24 W over the High Tech Mesa Thunder on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Thunder back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-9 loss.

Liberty Charter's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. As for High Tech Mesa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Liberty Charter and High Tech Mesa's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Liberty Charter and High Tech NC (who has only given up 29.43 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, High Tech Mesa will face off against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on Thursday, a team that's only allowed 28.5 points per game.
