Football Recap: Cromwell's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cromwell couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 40-14 to the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons on Thursday. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

With the loss, Cromwell broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2. As for Fertile-Beltrami, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Cromwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fertile-Beltrami, they will face off against Kittson Central/Lancaster on Thursday. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
