There's no place like home for the Justin-Siena Braves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They strolled past Casa Grande with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 61-43. Given Justin-Siena's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Casa Grande is ranked 398th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jordan Washington was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Dylan Zapolski was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Justin-Siena is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Casa Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.
Justin-Siena didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-33 victory vs. Sonoma Valley on the 10th. Casa Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
