There's no place like home for the Bloomsburg Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Mount Carmel by a score of 56-47 on Wednesday. This was payback for Bloomsburg, who suffered a 43-24 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Brynna Zentner, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bloomsburg's points. Teagan Serrano was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Bloomsburg now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Mount Carmel, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
