After losing to the Taft Toreadors the last time they met, the Eagle Rock Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Eagle Rock blew past Taft 49-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eagle Rock.
Among those leading the charge was Haylee Weatherspoon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Romero, who scored 9 points along with 6 assists and 6 steals.
Eagle Rock's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Taft, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Eagle Rock will take on Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Taft, they will be playing at home against Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
