They strolled past Banning with points to spare, taking the game 51-33. That's another feather in the cap for San Pedro, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
San Pedro was led to victory by Noelani Raigans and Shalia Coleman. Raigans scored 13 points along with three steals, while Coleman scored 18 points along with two steals. Raigans is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Maia Wooldridge was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Despite the loss, Banning still got an impressive performance from Tavanna Price, who scored ten points along with four steals. Price has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Melony Bernabe, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.
San Pedro has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Banning, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
