Brush won against Lyons on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Beetdiggers walked away with a 5-1 win over the Weld Central Rebels. The Beetdiggers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

The team relied heavily on Landon Mesch, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Trae Romero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Brush and bumps their season record up to 9-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Weld Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Brush has already played their next match, a 12-7 victory against Haxtun on the 26th. As for Weld Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Fort Lupton on the 26th.
