You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Millard North on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the North Platte Bulldogs out of the water with a 66-29 final score. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Millard North got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avril Smith out in front who posted six points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. What's more, Smith posted four assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Harley, who put up 12 points and three steals.

Millard North's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for North Platte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Millard North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-39 victory against Papillion-LaVista on the 28th. North Platte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
