The Cornerstone Christian Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Liberty Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Cornerstone Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
Cornerstone Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt Bethel Christian on Tuesday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Kings with a sharp 20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won 18 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Jayden Soto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
