String Theory put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Nueva Esperanza by a score of 46-39. String Theory's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Samaiia Oliver was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Juliano, who scored 12 points.
Despite the loss, Nueva Esperanza still got an impressive performance from Destiny Santiago , who scored 18 points. The match was Santiago 's third in a row with at least ten points. Ayana Burgos was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
String Theory pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Nueva Esperanza, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
String Theory will be home for the holidays to greet Philadelphia Military Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Nueva Esperanza will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hill Freedman World Academy at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
