Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, a fact the Enterprise Hornets proved on Tuesday. They blew past Fall River 56-35. This was payback for Enterprise, who suffered a 57-39 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Enterprise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eden Garnaas, who scored 13 points along with 5 assists. Tianna Lowe was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Serena Conway, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Norris, who scored 3 points.
The victory got Enterprise back to even at 1-1. As for Fall River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Enterprise will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Oroville at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. Hopefully Oroville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday. As for Fall River, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against University Prep at 2:00 p.m.
