 Palisades' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brooklyn Young, who  posted 12 points. Young is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games she's  played.  Jade Marshall was another key player,  putting up eight points and 11  rebounds.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Mecklenburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Chloe Grant, who  put up 13  points along with eight  boards and five  blocks.  Iryiah Wallace was another key player,  posting 11 points.
Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for South Mecklenburg, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palisades will take on Olympic at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for South Mecklenburg, they will face off against Ardrey Kell at 6:00  p.m.  on January 10th.
