Cruz can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past the Roycemore Griffins 55-35. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cruz's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Roycemore, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cruz will head out to challenge Beacon Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Roycemore and Wolcott College Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
