The San Dimas Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 54-12 win over West Covina on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-5.
San Dimas can attribute much of their success to Olivia Romero, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janessa Rodriguez, who scored nine points.
The victory was the third in a row for San Dimas, bringing their record for this year to 10-6. As for West Covina, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Dimas will face off against Northview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 315th, while San Dimas is ranked 136th). As for West Covina, they will head out on the road to face off against Diamond Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
