Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reseda). They were the clear victor by a 67-43 margin over the Panorama Pythons on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Regents considering their 19-point performance the matchup before.

Reseda had a senior duo take command as Zahra Numa posted 31 points and Olivia Rosales put up 21 points. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for Numa. Another player making a difference was Marisela Rosales, who scored seven points.

Panorama's loss came despite strong showings from Yadhira Hermenegildo and YESSENIA QUEZADA. Hermenegildo dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards, while QUEZADA went 6 of 15 on her way to 17 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 39.5% of Panorama's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Reseda's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Panorama, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Reseda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-14 win against Community Charter on the 3rd. As for Panorama, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-19 defeat against Van Nuys on the 31st.
