It was fun while it lasted, but Lemoore's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They came up short against the Kingsburg Vikings, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Lemoore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Garcia's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lemoore fell to 3-1. As for Kingsburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Lemoore will take on Sierra Pacific in a tournament on Wednesday. Lemoore's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Sierra Pacific's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingsburg, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
