The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pacific Collegiate in their matchups with King City: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading King City to victory were Amity Hearne and Janesa Lopez. Hearne scored a point along with 13 rebounds, while Lopez scored 15 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Lopez scored 15 or more points.
Pacific Collegiate has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for King City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing St. Francis the next time they take the court. King City will host St. Francis at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, while Pacific Collegiate will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
