After four games on the road, Neumann Regional Academy is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Northeast Bradford Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Neumann Regional Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
On Thursday, Neumann Regional Academy was the victim of a rough 66-44 defeat at the hands of Montoursville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Neumann Regional Academy in their matchups with Montoursville: they've now lost five in a row.
GiGi Parlante put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. She scored a full 34.1% of Neumann Regional Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shanniyah Tutler, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Northeast Bradford humbled Sayre with a 48-17 victory.
Neumann Regional Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Northeast Bradford, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
Everything came up roses for Neumann Regional Academy against Northeast Bradford in their previous matchup back in December of 2016 as the team secured a 68-38 win.
