Mill Creek had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They put the hurt on the Discovery Titans with a sharp 14-4 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Mill Creek pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Discovery, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
