The Franklin Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Meadville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Franklin got the win against Oil City by a conclusive 38-18.
Katie Boal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and seven blocks. Boal is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Blum, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, sadly, Meadville is still looking for their first win of the season after 17 matchups. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 1-0 to Warren. That was the first shutout Meadville has experienced all year.
Franklin's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Meadville, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Franklin against Meadville in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 51-23 win. Does Franklin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Meadville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
