The Wasco Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They ended the year with a bang, routing Delano 53-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wasco.
Wasco had a senior duo take command as Illiana Villanueva scored eight points along with eight steals and three blocks and Karly Perez scored 12 points. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Devanie Caban, who scored two points along with five steals.
Wasco's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Delano, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Wasco is on the road again on Friday and play against South at 10:00 a.m. on December 29th. As for Delano, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
