Basketball Recap: Adelyn Boberg and Anna Shreeve Secure Win for San Juan Hills

San Juan Hills's game on Tuesday was all tied up 34-34 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past the Trabuco Hills Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 69-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-32 two weeks ago.

Leading San Juan Hills to victory were Anna Shreeve and Adelyn Boberg. Shreeve almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds, while Boberg went 10 for 24 on her way to 29 points and six boards. With that strong performance, Boberg is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. IrIs ProfancIk was another key player, putting up six points and five assists.

San Juan Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trabuco Hills only pulled down seven offensive boards.

Despite the defeat, Trabuco Hills saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joelle Fujimoto went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Fujimoto a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kelsie Wong, who posted nine points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.

San Juan Hills is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Trabuco Hills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

San Juan Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-51 loss against San Clemente on the 30th. As for Trabuco Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-43 defeat against Aliso Niguel on the 30th.
