After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shoemaker, The Killeen Kangaroos were happy to have found some success on Friday. They won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Waco 17-16. Given Killeen's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Waco is ranked 672nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Killeen's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Waco, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Killeen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Waco also has no future games currently scheduled.
